My Journey Inward
A personal path of self-healing through somatic wisdom and spiritual practice.
Namaskaram. I’m Karuna Sunil Chawla, initiator of The BodyMine. I am a Somatic Experiencing® and Family Constellations therapist. My journey of conscious and willful self-healing began in December 2011, when I learned Inner Engineering from Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Yoga Centre. Through this practice, I discovered that true healing lies within the body, not outside it. With a powerful tool- the Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya, I began to cultivate resilience and a deeper connection to my nervous system, shifting from reactivity to responsibility.

Voices of Transformation:
Real Stories of Healing and Inner Shifts
Karuna embodies a charismatic and calming presence that instantly brings peace. Her sessions are deeply intuitive and transformative, guiding one through a journey of healing, release, and renewal. I’m endlessly grateful for the guidance and positive energy she shares; it’s helping me heal in ways words can barely express.
I highly recommend her — if someone like me can get back on track, then truly, anyone can. I still remember telling her during our first meeting that I never believed in healing… but now, I wouldn’t want to miss a single session. Each one feels like a gentle step closer to clarity, peace, and inner balance.
Somatic healing with Karuna helped me release long pent up stress and trauma.
She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed from the first session.
Her guidance and support was instrumental in bringing a positive impact on my physical and mental health.
I highly recommend her.
Karuna is perhaps the most comfortable I have felt speaking with out of quite a few professionals that I have consulted with . The reason I feel comfortable speaking with her as openly as I do is because of how safe she makes me feel . Initially there were reservations which she put to rest very comfortably . I can speak with her about anything . She has the knack of helping me feel easy and relaxed about a situation that I am confronted with. It is an absolute pleasure to work with her and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for trauma therapy . She is a godsend .
I’ve recently had the opportunity to take healing sessions with Karuna.
Over the course of just three sessions, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in the persistent pain I was experiencing in my left thigh. What’s been especially meaningful is the gentle, intuitive way she guides each session — with a deep sense of presence ,care and compassion.
I’m grateful for the relief I’ve experienced and look forward to continuing this healing journey with her.

I’ve been doing sessions with Karuna since a year and a half. They’ve had a great impact on my healing and self journey. She will effortlessly open you up with her soft voice and calm energy. During the course of session, she gently and patiently guides your body to release years of trauma. I’m also able to listen to my body more.

My Approach & Offerings
Gentle, body-centered, and systemic approaches to support emotional and trauma healing.

Somatic Experiencing®
I offer my skills as a practioner in learning of Somatic Experiencing®—a gentle, body-centred healing approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine. Unlike traditional talk therapy, this method focuses on connecting with the body’s felt sense and releasing emotions stored in the fascia, organs, and muscles.

Family Constellations®
As a practioner in learning of Family Constellations, a modality developed by Bert Hellinger, I work with clients to restore balance in family systems by exploring intergenerational trauma, using healing affirmations, and tapping into the power of morphic resonance and the orders of love.

Traumatic symptoms are not caused by the event itself. They arise when residual energy from the experience is not discharged from the body. This energy remains trapped in the nervous system where it can wreak havoc on our bodies and minds.

Questions Along The Healing Path
Answers to Your Questions About Support, Healing, and the Journey Within

Each session, whether online or offline, is shaped by what your body brings to the surface. Drawing from both Somatic Experiencing® and Family Constellations®, I intuitively respond to what arises—sometimes using one modality, sometimes weaving both together. We begin by creating a grounded sense of safety through somatic tools, allowing space for deeper patterns or ancestral influences to emerge. Before we begin, I’ll ask what you feel called to explore—be it ongoing stress, an unresolved experience, or a sense of being stuck. Trauma often lives in the body as pain, gut imbalances, fatigue, sleep disturbances, or emotional overwhelm. With gentle attention, the body begins to find its own rhythm and return to balance.
Sessions typically last up to 60 minutes, allowing enough time to stay attuned to what your body is ready to process without being overwhelmed.
We’ll start with a complimentary 21-minute phone or video call to connect and sense into whether this space feels right for you. If it does, we can move forward with weekly sessions at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.
Healing is not linear. Since trauma often occurs in an instant, the body takes its own time to process and release stored energy. The number of sessions depends on your sensitivity to bodily sensations, your ability to regulate, and how much titration your system needs. Your pace is honoured.
